Short version: we collect anonymized usage data so we can see which features people actually use. No accounts, no tracking cookies, no cross-site tracking, no session recording.
What we collect
- Anonymized usage analytics via PostHog — page views, click events on UI elements (button labels, link targets), country, browser, device type. A random visitor ID is stored in your browser's localStorage so a returning session is recognized; no cookies, no email, no name. Your IP is used at ingest time to derive country and is not retained alongside events. PostHog's privacy policy.
- Local browser storage for your theme preference (light/dark). Stays on your device.
- Affiliate click events (when you click a Try button) sent to OpenRouter / Together / Fireworks for referral attribution. We see only the aggregate count, not your identity.
What we do not collect
- Names, emails, or form input values (input fields are masked)
- Tracking cookies — analytics state lives in localStorage only
- Session recordings, mouse-trail data, or keystroke timing
- Cross-site behavior, fingerprints, ad-network data
- API requests to AI providers — Phase 1 has no gateway, so we never see your prompts
Phase 2
When the API gateway launches, we will collect: account email (for billing), API usage logs (token counts only — never prompt content). A revised privacy policy will be posted before any data collection begins.
